In todays society it can be easy to find ourselves confined to our own little bubble, running errands, cooking, cleaning, remembering that doctors appointment and worrying about the gas bill that is due next week.
But, how wonderful would the world be if we could all be a tiny bit kinder. Not only is it good for other people, it is good for us too. Being kind releases happy chemicals into our brains which make us feel good. It's a win win situation.
Here's three random acts of kindness that you can do today and help make the World that tiny bit better.
1) Call someone. Picking up the phone and touching base with somebody can be a really nice gesture. It doesn't have to be a long phone call, just long enough to make sure they're feeling OK.
2) Smile at a stranger. You'll be surprised how many people immediately smile back and how good this feels.
3) Pop some change in a charity box. It doesn't have to be a lot, but every little helps and you'll be supporting a good cause.
Love,
Donna.
