Walk for Harry

September 2023 saw us walk for Harry, a dear friends son who passed away at age 11 and is so dearly missed.

The children did exceptionally well, walking most of the way in blistering heat, through some tricky terrain. I am so proud of them.

As a whole, the walk raised over £1000 to provide play equipment for charities who supported Harry.

The bubble rush

The bubble rush is an event that raises money for children's hospices and I was very proud to take part in 2022, along side my family. Together we raced through tunnels of bubbles and raised £75 for charity.

The three peaks challenge

An incredible challenge I am proud to have completed is the "three peaks challenge". Along with friends, I trekked to the summit of the highest peaks in England, Scotland and Whales.. all within 24 hours. It was an excruciating challenge inwhich I permanantly damaged my knee. However, it was worth the pain I was able to raise £500 for the NSPCC.

Trekking the Himalayas

My biggest feat to date is a 14 day trek through the Himalayas. It was an incredible experience during which I hiked almost 12 hours a day through mountains, visiting Buddhist temples and taking in breath taking views.
🕯
It was extremely tough going, despite the beauty. I remember one day in particular where we climbed stairs for 8 hours straight. It was like torture. However I am ecstatic to tell you that I raised £2500 for the Helen Bamber Foundation.
🕯
I'm proud that I achieved the hike and learnt just how resilient I can be. At the end of the 14 days, I visited thr Taj Mahal in India. I will never forget it's breath taking beauty.
🕯
Once I returned to my home, I slept for 2 days and 2 nights straight, without waking.
